Dig that you used a piano, I was thinking that a piano would be good. I was also thinking of using some instrument or effect to make things sound like ambient wind. Maybe some sort of electronic wind with long slow pulses, desolate, wasteland, and stripped down. I'd like to start with that because the place is deadly quiet. after 30 seconds of that, the piano can come in softly as Edith begins to tell her story. I think it's just two instruments; piano and wind (example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4C6a99xx8U&feature=related) Then at the end of the video it would be nice if the same sound was now transcendent and more uplifting. Does that make sense? Start off with the instrument being desolate / transition into some piano or whatever / then use the same instrument in the beginning but now it's a peaceful steady pulse in a key that's uplifting. That's a lot I know.
